3 West Brom players capable of stepping up to the Premier League in the future
West Brom have enjoyed a strong 2023/24 campaign and they will
be determined to end on a high under popular boss Carlos Corberan.
As they have for the majority of the season, West Brom is presently ranked
fifth in the Championship table. They seem likely to qualify for the play-offs,
where they will compete for the third promotion position.
During the course of the Baggies’ improved season, several key players
have developed, and you have to believe that some of them will play in the
Premier League in the future.
Having said that, these three West Brom players have the potential to play in the Premier League in the future.
Tom Fellows
Fellows, an academy product, is perhaps the player with the highest ceiling on the current West Brom roster.
With five goals and four assists in 28 senior appearances this season, the 20-
year-old has established himself as a first-team regular. Given his current rate
of growth, it may not be long until the winger, whether with the Baggies or
elsewhere, steps up to the premier league.
Mikey Johnson
Johnston was having trouble getting into the starting lineup at Celtic, but his
status has skyrocketed following an outstanding loan with West Brom. Since
signing, he has demonstrated the makings of a top-tier player, as
evidenced by his six goals in 10 Championship games, which helped him
launch his own goal of the season competition.
Johnston, who is 24 years old, still has time to improve, and if he does, Premier
League teams may soon begin to notice his abilities.
Cedric Kipre
Kipre, 27, is the oldest player listed here and may be nearing the end of his game.
His career comeback at West Brom has been remarkable, though, and Fabrizio
Romano has already mentioned interest from elite teams, including Premier League clubs.
