BREAKING NEWS >>>Club president discusses Nottingham Forest’s €70 million offer-Clearly…

Quién es el millonario dueño del Nottingham Forest, uno de los clubes que más invirtió en este mercado? :: Olé - ole.com.ar

Ever since joining Nottingham Forest on the final day of the winter transfer window from RC Strasbourg, Matz Sels has been the team’s first-choice keeper.

The Premier League team had already evaluated a few stoppers before he arrived, notably Álvaro Valles of UD Las Palmas.

As per today’s Marca, Las Palmas president Miguel Ángel Ramírez Alonso has confirmed that Nottingham Forest made an offer of €70 million for the Spaniard back in January.

We managed to sell Álvaro Valles in December. Nottingham Forest, an English team, made us an offer of €70million, which I turned down,” he said to the local media on Tuesday.

The president’s reason for declining this offer is not stated, but it hasn’t exactly gone the La Liga team’s way. With less than 18 months remaining on his contract, the 26-year-old’s representative has rejected

the Spanish club’s offer to extend.
Miguel Ángel Ramírez Alonso, the goalkeeper, says that his goal is to “try to get the greatest possible economic return” for Valles, and he will be free to go in the summer.

Given that the Las Palmas player’s performances this season have garnered attention in England, Marca suggests that Nottingham Forest or another team may make an offer to capture him during the

upcoming transfer window. In thirty games, he gave up thirty goals while maintaining eight clean sheets.

The tabloid speculates that Valles may travel to England after leaving Las Palmas. Whether the Reds, who made an offer in January, would revisit for him in the summer remains to be seen.
