After leading the Milwaukee Bucks to an incredible 140-129 victory over the merciless Phoenix Suns on Sunday, seven-time All-NBA guard Damian Lillard needed some time to decompress. To that end, Dame made the hasty decision to travel to Chicago on Monday to cheer on his old team, the Portland Trail Blazers. Lillard had a couple of days off in between games. Milwaukee’s next contest is on Wednesday against the mighty Boston Celtics at the TD Garden. Dame took the opportunity to watch his former teammates play.

The Chicago Bulls were hosting the Blazers at the TD Garden on Monday night, and Dame made the trip to the Windy City to support the team that he spent the first decade of his career with:

Chicago is a good 90-mile trip from Milwaukee, which means that Lillard would have traveled nearly 200 miles back and forth. Now if that isn’t a showing of unwavering loyalty to the Blazers, then I don’t know what is.

Unfortunately, Portland was not able to make it worth Lillard’s time and effort. The Bulls managed to escape with a victory in a tight encounter, 110-107.
