Well, it hasn’t taken long for the Brazilian defender to start attracting admiring glances from top European clubs.
Forest signed Murillo amid interest from Manchester City in the summer for £10.4 million.
He’s been ever-present in the Premier League since making his debut against Brentford back in October.
Now, AS claims that Atletico Madrid see the 21-year-old as a big signing as they look to rebuild a defence that is ageing somewhat.
It’s claimed that the La Liga giants have been compiling reports on Murillo this season and could move for him in the summer.
At the moment, it’s going to be tricky to assess whether or not Murillo is a realistic signing for Atletico.
If Forest stay in the Premier League, the club will be able to command a huge sum and that might price Los Rojiblancos out.
Should the worst-case scenario happen and Forest drop into the EFL things could be a whole lot different in terms of Murillo.

The young defender is left-sided, strong in possession and the fact he can play out from the back makes him a player that clubs will want to sign.
