BREAKING NEWS: Really, I’m done; I’m unable to go on, The Head Coach And Adam Idah…

After Kyogo Furuhashi opened the score against St Johnstone this afternoon and set up Nicolas Kuhn for a goal, Brendan Rodgers was all over the striker.

Having failed to start in Celtic’s last three games, had begun to fall out of the side and looked to be second choice to Adam Idah.

According to Rodgers, [The Celtic Way], “Adam (Idah) has been very good since he came in, and competition is what Kyogo and every player need.”

However, I felt he was intelligent and had wonderful movement. Accurate.

At the first goal, he showed great bravery. Some strikers might have moved their heads out of the way to allow the keeper to get through, but he didn’t, and he scored the goal. He makes a run and comes back onside.

And for the second one, it was an excellent cross. He was quite good.

In spite of his reservations regarding Kyogo’s fit in Rodgers’ lineup this year, Rodgers has shown his respect for the Japanese striker in his remarks.

Although Kyogo hasn’t scored as frequently as he did in Ange Postecglou’s first two seasons, he now appears more at ease, occasionally dipping deep and drifting wide.

Kyogo’s goal will be crucial if Celtic are to win the Scottish Premiership again.

We have two league games versus Rangers coming up in the next several months, so we know how good of a big-game player he is if he maintains his recent performance for the remaining months.
