Facyson inked a two-year, $6.5 million contract with Las Vegas in the hopes of obtaining the same skill he demonstrated during his best season to date in 2021.
Regrettably, Facyson’s shin injury during training camp forced him to sign an IRL contract. He would be cleared to play in the final three games of the season, but he would stay on the list until
early December. His snaps were scarce even then.
For the most part of the season, Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Brandon Facyson was placed on the Injured Reserve List, making it anything from perfect.
The 2023 season for Facyson was just one instance among many that demonstrated the NFL’s extreme inequity. Now, assuming he can stay healthy, the 27-year-old cornerback will face even
greater pressure to establish his value in 2024.
