Breaking news:Report now shares when Nottingham Forest will discover their FFP fate

Nottingham Forest could find out their fate after breaching financial regulations as early as this Friday.

So, what has been said about the breaches made by Forest on profitability and sustainability? Let’s take a closer look…

When Nottingham Forest could discover their fate

Well, it appears as though Forest might not have to wait much longer to find out exactly what their punishment will be.

Everton had been deducted 10 points earlier this season but they received four of them back upon appeal.

Now, The Athletichas claimed that Forest could receive their punishment this week, with an outcome expected before Friday.

Forest face Luton on Saturday in a game that looks absolutely gigantic at this stage of the season.

Losing to the Hatters doesn’t look fathomable and if another defeat is on the cards, it will surely pile the pressure on Nuno Espirito Santo.

Given that Everton also face another points deduction, there could be some question marks over the integrity of this campaign – and Forest will be hoping for a best-case scenario.

Reds need burden easing and outcome is positive

At this stage, Forest need a lift and it seems clear that with everything hanging over them, it’s impacting the team on the pitch.

Having some clarity – regardless of the outcome – could be positive in itself and at least then it’s something which Forest can park and move on from.

The Reds desperately need something to go their way and the next three games against Luton, Crystal Palace and Fulham are going to be season-defining.

Espirito Santo will want to know the outcome and discover what Forest’s fate is.

At that point every emphasis has to be placed on the team and securing enough points to climb the Premier League table.
