Draymond Green ‘upset’ at LeBron James over Lakers star’s latest project
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green isn’t exactly being the
most supportive friend toward his good buddy LeBron James.
The Los Angeles Lakers star recently launched his joint podcast called “Mind
the Game” with former NBA veteran JJ Redick.
The duo described their new program as “a celebration of the sport” and a
platform for them to “wax poetic” about hoops.
In a recent installment of “The Draymond Green Show,” Green
acknowledged that he was “a little upset” that James had begun the podcast with
Redick. The star of the Warriors had hoped that James would have thought
about going on Green’s show before taking the mickey with someone else.
“I have to admit that I’m a little disappointed that LeBron James is
joining a podcast even though he hasn’t appeared on ‘The Draymond Green
Show.'” For now, I suppose I’ll put up with it. Green said, “Pick the bone with him that I got to pick with him later.”
Green acknowledged that James wasn’t only Redick’s guest on a podcast. As
much of the project is Redick’s as it is James’. Redick’s ThreeFourTwo
Productions and James’ UNINTERRUPTED brand are partners in “Mind the Game.”
Over time, a solid bond has grown between Green and James. They seem to
get along well enough to likely get through this experience and move on.
