According to Durant, “I’m surprised they helped off, especially after I hit one,” Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reported. “I just need to take those and knock them down with confidence and fundamentals.”

Durant scored 37 points in the game’s conclusion. After committing three turnovers in the first quarter, KD waved things aside and grabbed control in the final minutes. Bradley Beal and Devin Booker were back in the starting lineup.

Regarding the Cavs’ defense, KD remarked, “They keep it honest.” They play rough and hard. Their squad is athletic and long. Thus, we were confident that the game would be strong from start to finish.

Due to a right ankle strain, Booker had missed the previous four games; nevertheless, upon his return, he was beneficial to Durant and the Suns. Despite missing six of his seven attempted triples, he finished with 27 points on 11 of 22 shooting without being limited by minutes. Beal scored 24 points using 10 of his 19 shots.

“That’s that spontaneous part of basketball,” Durant shared. “You never know where the play’s going to start with us three, you never know how it’s going to end.”
