Terrible Towel Tales: Arthur Maulet sounds off on Pittsburgh Steelers - Behind the Steel Curtain
Arthur Maulet signed a multi-year contract extension with the Ravens late last summer after becoming a fixture in the organization. According to Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network, the seasoned cornerback is re-signing with Baltimore for a two-year contract.

During his rookie season, the former UDFA moved around the NFL, never playing for more than two seasons on one team. Maulet didn’t make an impression on another AFC North team until last July, having spent the 2021 and 2022 seasons in Pittsburgh.

The 30-year-old went on to start three of his 14 games with the Ravens, tying or surpassing previous career highs in passes defended (five), sacks (two), and quarterback hits (three). Pro Football Focus evaluated his performance, placing him 45th out of 127 qualifying

As a nickelback, Maulet has always had a part to play, but in 2024, he might have more of one. Although Ronald Darby and Maulet will no longer be in competition for the CB3 spot, Marlon Humphrey and Brandon Stephens will still be at the top of the cornerback depth chart.

The Ravens have made some progress in keeping their free agency defenders, as ESPN’s Jamison Hensley observes. Along with defensive end Brent Urban, linebacker Malik Harrison, and defensive lineman Justin Madubuike, Maulet is the fourth defender in Baltimore to re-sign.
