Just in:’Unbelievable weapon’ – Leeds United tipped to re-sign…….see more

Skilful winger Jack Clarke burst onto the scene at Elland Road under Marcelo Bielsa, racking up over 20 appearances for Leeds United before leaving for Tottenham Hotspur

Leeds United have been urged to re-sign Jack Clarke if they achieve promotion back to the Premier League. That is the opinion of former Whites boss Simon Grayson.

York-born winger Clarkeburst onto the scene at Elland Road under Marcelo Bielsa, graduating from the club’s academy and making 22 appearances for United during their 2018/19 Championship campaign. His rapid development saw him picked up by Tottenham Hotspur.

However, Clarke failed to make the grade in North London. After a number of loan moves, Clarke left the Premier League club and joined Sunderland on a permanent basis in 2022

The 23-year-old has established himself as one of the best players outside the top-flight. He has weighed in with 15 goals and four assists for the Black Cats this term as the Wearside club bid to finish in the play-offs for the second year running.

In recent months, Clarkehas been linked with a number of clubs in England and in Europe. His stock is high and the player is likely to command a sizeable transfer fee should Sunderland decide to cash in on him when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
