Latest Nottingham Forest transfer news as Reds further trim their squad after

busy January window of outgoings

Toronto�FC�has�officially�acquired�defender�Richie�Laryea�from�Nottingham�Forest.

The�right-back�is�returning�to�his�old�team.

Laryea�came�to�the�Reds�from�Toronto�two�years�prior.�She�spent�a�loan�period�

with�the�team�from�August�2022�to�August�2023.�Following�that,�she�played�for�th

e�Vancouver�Whitecaps�of�the�Major�League�Soccer�(MLS).

“Laryea,�who�made�five�appearances�for�The�Reds,�is�now�returning�to�Canada,”�

stated�Forest.We�appreciate�Richie’s�service�and�wish�

him�well�in�the�future.

There�were�only�five�appearances�by�the�Canada�international�in�the�Garibaldi.

Of�those�appearances,�only�one�was�made�as�a�member�of�the�starting�lineup.

After�the�January�transfer�window�closed,�he�was�added�to�Forest’s�25-

man�Premier�League�roster.The�29-year-

old�was�“not�involved,”�head�coach�Nuno�Espirito�Santo�clarified,�indicating�that�he�was�not�a�part�of�his�plans.

him for a price that would enable this transaction. We are at that point.

“We have to accept that they have expectations because he plays for
