Pittsburgh The Pittsburgh Steelers are in need of wide receiver support, and a former player may be able to help. Although JuJu Smith-Schuster is still with the New England Patriots, why not go back to where his NFL career began if he’s on the move?

On a recent edition of the Arthur Moats Experience, co-host Arthur Moats, a former linebacker for the Steelers, suggested the concept to him. He was intrigued when the proposal was presented, and both hosts agreed that it would work.

After being selected by the Steelers in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Smith-Schuster started 51 games and hauled in 323 passes for 3,855 yards and 26 touchdowns. While he was in Pittsburgh, he was named to his only Pro Bowl and by the time he left, he was the team’s best wide receiver.

After winning a Super Bowl, he eventually signed a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. After that, in 2023, he inked a three-year contract with the Patriots. His contract will be in effect for another year.
