SAD NEWS: This is the end of journey for “Brendan Rodgers” after meeting with the disciplinary panel as his duration of banned has been…..

Peter Grant, a former Hoops defender, says as much.

The fifty-one-year-old Northern Irishman, who made remarks regarding matchday officials during Celtic’s 2-0 loss to Hearts earlier this month, has been sent a notice of complaint. He will appear before the Scottish FA’s disciplinary tribunal at Hampden tomorrow.

Rodgers called the referee and video assistant on that particular day, Don Rnobertso and John Beaton, “incompetent,” which landed the Celtic manager un serious trouble.

If found guilty at the hearing, he would be barred from the dugout for the next away games against Livingston and Rangers and would serve a minimum of two-game suspension.

Nick De Marco, a well-known football attorney, has been brought in to defend the Celtic manager in an effort to avoid being charged.

Grant also says that if Rodgers is suspended for the derby at Ibrox, it will be a mockery of Scottish football, even though he has no idea how the case will proceed.
