It appears that Adam Idah’s deal to Celtic has been approved, as a former Hoops transfer target is headed to Norwich.

Idah, 22, is on his way to becoming the champions’ second signing of the month.

The Republic of Ireland international will sign a contract with the Parkhead team to play on loan for the balance of the season, with a summer buyout option reportedly available to Celtic.

The frontman was initially in talks with Serie A outfit Hellas Verona over a move.

However, once Brendan Rodgers’ interest became apparent, Idah changed his mind and had his heart set on Glasgow.

The Championship side were unwilling to let Idah leave until they had drafted in a replacement, though.

Now, according to Football Scotland, it appears Sydney van Hooijdonk is their Man

The son of ex-Celt Pierre will join The Canaries on loan until the summer from Bologna.

After the striker’s scheduled medical examination today, Idah is expected to finalize his transfer to Scotland.

This season, the forward has seven goals for Norwich. He’ll give Oh and Kyogo some competition up top.
