The Green Bay Packers certainly have a following when it comes to their former players. Throughout the years there have been numerous former players who speak out about the team on social media. Greg Jennings, John Kuhn (who works for the Packers), James Jones, Aaron Rodgers, and many more have made it known their following the team in some capacity.

However, one former player follows fan sites on social media, and saw something he really didn’t like.

Former Green Bay Packers 2014 first-round draft pick had something to say when a Packers fan page questioned if Safeties are worthy of a first-round draft pick:

Clinton-Dix was selected by the Packers at No. 21 overall. He ended up playing in 78 games (including playoffs) and starting 72 times for Green Bay over five seasons. The Packers’ first-round pick recorded 14 interceptions, 25 passes defended, three forced fumbles, and 5.5 sacks with the Packers.

During the 2016 season, he intercepted a career-high five passes, made the Pro Bowl and was named a second-team All-Pro. In 2014, he was also named to the All-Rookie Team.

Clinton-Dix was traded by the Packers to Washington during the 2018 season. His NFL career included nine games with the Washington Redskins, 16 games with the Chicago Bears in 2019 and two games with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021.

Clinton-Dix played 98 games in the NFL and intercepted 16 passes.

During his college career, Clinton-Dix won two national titles and was an All-American.
