Berry doubled his tally of games played from the 2021 season to become a fixture in the Warriors midefield, cementing a formidable combination with winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak.

He finished his third NRL season with three tries, eight try assists, 10 linebreak assists, four linebreaks and 31 tacklebreaks, while he averaged 75 metres and 17 tackles a game (with a 91 percent success rate).

“Rocco and Jackson both thrived in the new environment created this season,” said Warriors recruitment, pathways and development general manager Andrew McFadden.

“Like so many players in the squad, their games went to a new level this year, and there’s every confidence they’ll improve further next year and beyond.”
