SAD NEWS>>>Marco Rues set to leave Borrusia Dortmund as he hopes to sign off in style at the UEFA Champions League final…

Reus said, “Boston means everything to me. I hope to end my career in style at the UEFA Champions League final.”

After 12 seasons and more than 400 games in the renowned yellow and black jersey, Marco Reus of Borussia Dortmund will say goodbye to the team on the grandest stage possible on June 1st when he gets ready to play in BVB’s UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid at Wembley.

To me, Dortmund is everything. After twelve years of playing for a club, it must mean something. You don’t stick around for the money or the name alone. You must have excellent teammates, a pleasant atmosphere, and a sense of comfort.

Another important player is the audience. Knowing that you won’t find the same elsewhere makes leaving inevitable, so you consider your options carefully before deciding to leave. I think one of the main reasons I remained so long was the fans, but another major reason was that I always felt needed here.
