Sky Sports presenter David Prutton has shared details of a conversation he had with Nottingham Forest chairman Tom Cartledge.
The former Forest midfielder was speaking on a recent episode of the
Forest Focus podcast.
What, then, had the Forest chairman informed Prutton when he last spoke
with him? Let’s investigate more closely.
David Prutton explains what Nottingham Forest chairman told him
Well, it sounds like they had a rather
pleasant talk, and Prutton appears to have faith in him.
As the relatively new chairman of Forest, Cartledge is in charge of some ambitious goals.
There is a potential point deduction looming for the club, but the chairman is
unsure of what will happen at this time.
Now that Prutton has provided the specifics of his discussion with the
current chairman, it sounds really promising.
“I spoke with the chairman at the game on Saturday, and he was a really nice
man,” he said to the Forest Focus podcast.
It’s intriguing because he doesn’t currently know what will happen when
ask him about the points deduction.
It was good to hear him discuss the goals they have and he seemed really
optimistic about working with the owner.
In the end, a great deal of the hiring and firing will be handled by Evangelos Marinakis.
But Cartledge is the ideal candidate for the owner to appoint to handle the day-
to-day operations of the football team.
He has always been a passionate supporter of Forest, so it goes without
saying that he will always have the club at heart.
It’s wonderful to read that Prutton had a fruitful discussion with him, andMaybe some of his ambition may materialize
