Nottingham Forest’s appeal of their points deduction is not guaranteed to be resolved by the end of the season.
According to financial analyst Kieran Maguire, who spoke with Football Insider exclusively, the Premier League “desires” to finish all appeals but is unable to provide a timeframe.
Earlier in the season, Forest lost four points due to a violation of the Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules.
In March, a Premier League statement verified that Forest had chosen to file an appeal against the decision regarding their deduction.
Keith Wyness, a former CEO of Everton, said Football Insider that Forest’s appeal against the points reduction is probably going to be rejected.
