This The End Of The Journey>>Five Rabbitohs Superstar Confirm To Leave And Join

After a nasty incident between Roosters and Rabbitohs supporters at Allianz Stadium on Friday night, the NRL is anticipated to begin an inquiry.

Tensions with rival supporters at Moore Park in Sydney reached a breaking point after Trent Robinson’s team defeated their hated rivals 48–6.

Following South Sydney fullback Latrell Mitchell’s sin-binning late in the second half with the Roosters leading handily, fighting broke out in the renovated sporting facility’s members area.

Footage of the incident shows several people involved in the brawl exchanging a barrage of punches – within view of many terrified children.

Security initially struggled to intervene, before many involved eventually walked away.

On the field, the Rabbitohs slumped to their third successive defeat, with under pressure coach Jason Demetriou now facing an uncertain future.

‘It’s disappointing, it hurts, it’s probably the lowest point of my career right now but I know how we get out of it. We’ll fight and fight together,’ he said in the post game press conference.

‘I’ve got a lot of trust in this group, and I know they’ll get out of it.

‘The only way to quieten down [the noise] is to get laser focus, and get our season running again.

‘It’s a matter of just getting that first win. We’ve got to be more resilient.’

Demetriou’s decision to drop halfback Lachlan Ilias earlier this week raised plenty of eyebrows – as did benching hooker Damien Cook.

Star recruit Jack Wighton was also seen clutching a knee late in the contest in what was a night to forget for the Bunnies.
