When compared to all 152 top-tier sports teams analyzed, the Cowboys’ ticket prices are 202.45% above the overall
average of $132.09. Following the Cowboys, the Detroit Lions come in as the third most expensive team, with
average ticket prices of $382.88, reflecting a 189.87% increase over the average ticket price across major sports.
The Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles also feature prominently on the list, with average ticket prices of $370.73
and $367.50, respectively. These prices indicate a trend among teams, as they dominate the higher echelons of ticket costs.
In second place, the Kansas City Chiefs’ average ticket price comes in at $391.96. With this, the average cost to see the reigning Super Bowl Champions is 196.74% above the average price of watching top-tier sports, or 54.64% more costly than that of the average NFL team.
