West Brom players will have to be careful to avoid picking up too many
yellow cards through fear of a ban, with Darnell Furlong the most at risk of a two-game suspension.
As reported by Birmingham Live on 22 February, should Furlong pick up just
one yellow card in his next four games, he will handed a two-match ban.
After the season’s 37th game against Huddersfield on March 8th, all worries
about receiving too many yellow cards will vanish because the cap will then increase to 15.

In addition, three players—Kyle Bartley, Okay Yokuslu, and Cedric Kipre—have
been designated as risks for the forthcoming games. With seven cards
between them, they would need to draw three more in their next four games in order to be punished.
Pipa joined in the summer to give his teammate, who has so far avoided any
pressure, serious competition. Should Furlong find himself in hot water, Pipa
would be the most qualified backup for the full-back position.
As they continue to strive for the playoffs, the right wing-back has drawn
plaudits for his performances at The Hawthorns this season and has shown
himself to be one of Carlos Corberan’s most reliable players.
If Furlong manages to resist receiving another yellow-card in his next four
games, it will come as a huge boost to Albion, but Pipa may be secretly hoping
for the change to finally prove himself in the first team at The Hawthorns.
