West Ham head to Everton in the Premier League on Saturday and David Moyes has midfielder Kalvin Phillips back from suspension.

When West Ham plays Everton at Goodison Park in 2024, they hope to build on their first victory of the year.

Monday night’s 4-2 triumph. over Brentford at the London Stadium marked the Hammers’ first victory in nine attempts.

In the meantime, Everton has surged to a lofty position of 15th in the Premier League standings.

That comes following an unusual five-point weekend as a result of a draw at Brighton and the Premier League waiving four of the 10-point penalty the Toffees were given.

Sean Dyche’s Everton team is now five points clear of the drop zone ahead of David Moyes’ return to his former haunts.

Everton will definitely be motivated.

However, the Hammers will be hoping to gain some momentum after re-entering the race for a European spot.

And once Kalvin Phillips returns for Everton, we believe Moyes makes his simplest choice regarding West Ham this season.

Phillips returns for West Ham at Goodison Park

Thus far, Phillips’ loan at West Ham has been an absolutely horrible start.

His suffering increased when he was dismissed against Nottingham Forest, missing West Ham’s victory over Brentford as a consequence.

Given that West Ham already had an abundance of central midfielders, many supporters of the club believe Phillips was a totally unneeded addition.

Additionally, it appears to contain, Edson Alvarez while he is in the side.

Moyes to name unchanged West Ham side for Toffees

It appears that the manager will select the same squad that defeated Brentford in the first place.

For the Phillips who is returning, that means no room.

The England player will provide depth to West Ham’s bench options.

But unless there are any last-minute injuries during the warm-up, Moyes will start with the same lineup as before.

That also means no place for Nayef Aguerd or Michail Antonio again as the Hammers bench starts to look much stronger.
