Georgia baseball has just one out-of-conference matchup left on the schedule against Iowa on Tuesday before they face off against their first SEC opponent. The Bulldogs currently sit with an overall record of 16-1 under head coach Wes Johnson in his first season at the helm. They may not be ranked but you might have a harder time finding a hotter team in college baseball right now.

The Diamond Dawgs recently just wrapped up a four-game weekend series against Northern Colorado in which they earned the sweep. Part of this is due to the team having hit six grand slams over their last six games. Over the weekend, the Bulldogs outscored Northern Colorado 55-9, which has become a trend for the ball club this season. Scoring runs in bunches.
